    Objectives:

    At the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Understand the concept of a data object and the relationship to a database table
    • Understand different type of hierarchies and constructs
    • Understand the concept of Work versus Release Area
    • Navigate through folders
    • Preferences and Favorites
    • Navigate using the graphical model viewer
    • Search for data objects and values, and browse data
    • Understand basic and advanced filtering and sorting options
    • Perform data maintenance tasks: insert, copy, update, delete, restore, purge, bulk update, search/replace
    • Maintain data in hierarchical objects
    • Understand the various object level personalization parameters and their effects on the user interface
    • Reporting and delivery options
    • Build and run reports using both the report-builder wizard
    • OneData Anywhere
    • Request changes, and understand the relationship between data changes and Change Requests
    • Understand the concepts of workflow items and transactions, and how to approve/reject a workflow item; Staging versus Production (as-is setup)
