This course teaches you how to build an event-processing application with Apama without writing code. In Apama, there are several ways to build applications. One of the ways is to create an Apama scenario using the Event Modeler feature in Apama Studio. The Event Modeler is an intuitive, graphic, modeling tool. It enables business analysts and other non-technical users to define event-processing logic with little or no coding. An Apama application can be developed using one or more scenarios. A scenario provides instructions to Apama's correlator about patterns of events to monitor and defines actions to take in response to events that match a specific pattern. This course begins by introducing you to scenarios, their main components, and the steps required to create them. Next, this course teaches you how to perform each of the steps to create a scenario. You learn how the scenario components-states, variables, blocks, and rules-combine with each other to evolve into a complete scenario application. Finally, you learn how to run the completed scenario application and observe the output.
