    At the end of this course, you will be able to:

    ·         Rapidly build webMethods Business Rules projects using Software AG Designer

    ·          Create, test, validate and deploy Business Rules projects

    ·          Invoke Business Rules from webMethods BPMS processes

    ·          Start processes from Business Rules actions

    ·          Queue user tasks from Business Rules actions

    ·          Affect (cancel, join, suspend, resume) running processes from Business Rule actions

    ·          Work with rule maintenance applications

    ·          Create and use rule metadata in a CentraSite registry/repository

    ·          Invoke decision entities from User Tasks and IS services

    The practical exercises of this course are conducted on software version: webMethods 9.12

    Prerequisite:

    ·         Being familiar with general BPM concepts, e.g. as provided in Software AG's FREE book "BPM Basics for Dummies"

    ·         1 to 2 years experience in software development, preferably Java

    ·         Familiarity with the Eclipse IDE

    ·         Attending the "webMethods Integration Workshop" and the "webMethods BPM for Developers class is strongly recommended
